When I was a kid, my dad was always photographing and recording everything. I grew up being familiar with a camera in front of my face. The idea of being behind the camera did not occur to me until I was a bit older. I became fascinated with recording everything around me at the age of 15. I was no longer in competitive sports and I was able to pursue art in any way I pleased. I had too much time on my hands and I was a hyper kid who needed something to do with my hands. I began recording and editing short videos of my family and friends. It made me genuinely happy.  It made me even happier when I saw the way it made other people feel. Seeing the way my work affected people in a positive way made me want to tell stories. My videos were making people feel something and that inspired me to keep going.

I was looking through my dad's old cameras in our storage unit when I came across two cameras. One was an old sony camcorder and another a Nikon n65 film camera. I took it to a repair shop in the city and got it fixed. I had never experimented with film photography before and this was just the beginning. I started playing around with it and found myself immersed in the world of film photography. I have not been able to put that camera down since. I have found other film cameras along the way and continue to experiment with them every day.

This website is a glimpse into my world through film and digital photography. At first, I was hesitant to publish it because I did not think it was finished. I soon came to the realization that it will never be finished. It is always changing with new photos and stories on a daily basis. It is changing along with me and the new adventures I have yet to experience. It will never be complete and I have come to terms with the beauty of this ever-changing experiment.
